Gilnockie Tower is open all year round.

Open: 11.00 am until 3.00 pm daily end October until 1st April 2019,

And 10.00 am until 4.00 pm daily 1st April 2019 to end October 2019.

Personalised guided tours of the tower are available at 12.15 pm, 13.15 pm, and 14.15 pm by booking through our phone numbers.

Neil Armstrong, Astronaut visited Gilknockie Tower in 1972  whose “one small step for a man” was indeed a “giant leap for mankind.”

A celebration of his visit to Langholm and Gilknockie Tower will take place at Gilknockie Tower in 2022.
